Refund Policy
Our products are digital goods delivered instantly. This policy explains when refunds are and are not available. It is part of our Terms of Service. Nothing here limits the statutory consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
1. Try before you buy
Every Stranis plugin offers a free 7-day trial. We strongly encourage you to use it to confirm the product fits your system and workflow before purchasing — it is the best way to avoid needing a refund.
2. Digital goods are generally final
Because our products are downloadable software and license keys delivered immediately after purchase, all sales are generally final and non-refundable once the license key has been issued or the download has been made available. We are unable to verify that downloaded software has been deleted, which is why refunds are limited.
3. EU/UK consumer right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, this right is lost once delivery begins with your prior express consent. By completing your purchase and accessing the download or license key, you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
Your acceptance of these terms and your request for immediate delivery are captured at checkout.
4. When we will consider a refund
Despite the above, we will review refund requests in good faith in these cases:
- Technical fault — the product does not work as described and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time;
- Duplicate purchase — you accidentally bought the same product twice;
- Unauthorized payment — a charge you did not authorize (please contact us before disputing with your bank);
- any case where a refund is required by applicable law.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@stranis.com within 14 days of purchase with your order reference and a description of the problem. For technical faults, please let us help troubleshoot first — most issues are quickly fixable. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — we can usually resolve the issue faster. Filing a chargeback may result in suspension of your account and deactivation of your license while the dispute is investigated.
