Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make a purchase. To buy and access products you create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

2. Products

We sell downloadable digital audio software (plugins and related materials). Product descriptions, specifications, and system requirements are provided on the site. We make reasonable efforts to keep them accurate but do not warrant that they are error-free. We may change or discontinue products at any time. Where offered, a free trial lets you evaluate a product before purchase.

3. Pricing & taxes

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and may change at any time. Applicable sales tax, VAT, or other taxes are added at checkout where we are required to collect them. You are responsible for any taxes not collected by us that are due in your jurisdiction.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. By submitting a payment you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your selected payment method for the total amount. We do not store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully captured.

5. Delivery

Products are delivered digitally. After successful payment, your license key and downloads become available in your account, and a confirmation is sent to your email. No physical goods are shipped.

6. License & refunds

Your use of the products is governed by our End User License Agreement, which forms part of these Terms. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Please read both before purchasing.

7. Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to:

• use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data;
• interfere with or disrupt the site or its security features;
• scrape, copy, or resell any part of the site without permission.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the site — including the Stranis name and logo, text, graphics, and software — is owned by Stranis or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. VST is a registered trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

9. Third-party services

We rely on third-party services (such as Stripe, Supabase, and Vercel) to operate. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE SITE AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRANIS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York, USA, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here with the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
